“We’ve observed that some devices that have an SD bus with an SD card inserted while installing the Windows 10 November update will stop responding at 44%, and we are currently investigating the issue.”

2:
Threshold 2 is deleting a number of installed programs as it upgrades. Posters have a long list, including CPU-Z, speccy, 8gadgetpack, a Cisco VPN client, SATA drivers, SpyBot, RSAT, F5 VPN, HWMonitor and more.

3:
“If it’s been less than 31 days since you upgraded to Windows 10, you won’t get the November update right away; this will allow you to go back to your previous version of Windows if you choose. After the 31 days have passed, your PC will automatically download the November update.”

this is why I did a clean install. Although the upgrade worked for me since I have no SD Card. I noticed that I had 2 folders, Windows and Windows.old, this was just like the Windows 8 to 8.1 update, it's a whole new OS man. Thus, I decided to do a clean install as I hate upgrades when it comes to OSes

If only it had been available a week earlier when my 10 install became borked. I wouldn't clean installed it rather than redo the original release. Nevertheless, everything seems to be in order with my upgrade making this the fastest 10 install I've had to date on my desktop. My laptop still boots quickly as does my tablet and I'm convinced that 10 is the best Microsoft OS to date. Classic shell keeps my start menu configured the way I like it and 8gadgetpack keeps my desktop gadgets intact as it has since 8.1.

As for your issue with the sd card I have one permanently mounted in my tablet and the upgrade had no issues with seeing and using it just like it has since 8.1. It didn't have any effect on my ability to upgrade from 8.1 to 10 and from that to this 1511 update.

Seems this is an issue with those programs now being incompatible with the newest update.

I know for a fact the Speccy guys are working on getting their program working so I would assume most if not all of the other programs have their folks working on them as well.

I had to do a clean install last weekend to fix a few minor issues, there's a workaround: use the Media Creation tool to force the update. I ran the tool before going to work and ended up cancelling it because I didn't have time to finish. Turns out I could get the download from Windows Update when I got home that evening.

Had no program "uninstalled" from the update but my gadgets didn't work. Solved by uninstalling and reinstalling.

I did a clean install and everything went smooth. I was already to install Intel graphics and bluetooth drivers, but Windows 10 did it for me. I find TH2 much quicker than TH1 when it comes to folder navigation, UI responsiveness and even program launches even with HDD.

I suspect, this can be noticeable on slower systems. On my system with lots of ram and a 500mb/s R/W SSD, I really couldn't tell the difference. Heh.
