Just like to point out the hypocrites on this forum. Not saying all of you are, but there are quite a few.

Don't worry, I haven't bent. I have refused to install origin or buy an EA game for a long time.

A small sale won't make me give up my values.

i don't love EA. I hate BF series.

CoD is Activision.

Reported to mods for being a hater.

As the mod receiving the report, why would being a "hater" be against our rules?

Bought Command and Conquer 4 an hour ago from them. Still unable to install it. Doesn't show up in my Origin account. If I don't get Command and Conquer by tomorrow I'm never buying a game from Origin again.

Heh you should probably thank EA for that tbh, you picked the absolute worst EA game in recent history to buy 😵

After an hour and a half I was able to download the game. Why I had to wait an hour and a half (and then ~45 minutes to download the game), I don't know, but I did eventually get the game.

And my friend who moved halfway across the country is a big C&C fan, he wanted to join me in the game.

I thought Origin vowed not to offer steep sells because it "cheapens the IP" of the franchise.

I think the theory is sound, but since it's coming from EA everyone's eager to complain when prices are both high and low, so there's really no sense trying to actually objectively discuss it.

Played BF3 no problem even after moving the Origin Games folder to my storage drive and setting up a directory link (junction), nice to know you can move installed games around the same way you can with Steam. I haven't tried changing the default install location though, so I'm not sure if you can install games in multiple directories and it'll keep track of them or what; I would guess so. Also went 40-19 in my first match since BC2 like two years ago, didn't take me long at all to get back into the groove and was a lot of fun right off the bat.
