Massive paper jam, something broke off...

Printer: HP Photosmart 7760W

Well I was printing out a CD label with some sort of thick adhesive paper and my printer created a massive paper jam, I had to work and work to get all of the paper out of it and on the final piece this came out with it!

I just tried the printer with the same type of paper and it printed fine, but now its missing that dodad... I'm curious if anyone knows what it is for? Doesn't look like the printer misses it very much though, working fine for now.

I don't know how that massive DIME replica ever fit inside your printer...😉
Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Yup that gear comes from the paper-feed assembly because I have seen the same exact gear when I tried to fix my printer when the dang paper would not get pull in. Your printer still works because there are approximately 4-6 gear in the printer.
