got carded buying a bottle of PCB etchant (ferric chloride) at radioshack. then bought a bottle of butane next door and wasn't carded.
 
A month before I was eighteen, Walmart refused to sell me silicon sealent to reseal my friends' headlights. Said it was a state law too, which was a lie, but I went down the road and bought it at a hardware store.
 
I was at walmart. Had to buy injector cleaner for my car. Went to the oldest lady I could. She carded, and I explained how I wasn't going to sniff it, and if I was, I had expensive tastes. She laughed and put it in the bag.
 
yeah i think some places are checking ID for certain products, but then like u said, u can go next door and get the something just as dangours if not more with out an ID

we really don't like kerry that much either here. in fact until the election most people didn't know who he was. the thing is though, we just can't say no to anybody that even remotly looks/acts/sounds like a kennedy

What's ridiculous is that the liquor stores don't take out of state driver's licenses 😕

Had to go to 3 of them before I found one that would sell me some beer (I was 22).

Seriously, I didn't know that RS "carded" for anything.. are you sure that you weren't just confusing the fact that they always try to get your name and address to put you on their mailing list? (They do that to me, even if I pay cash - wtf.)

Were you actually asked to show photo-id? How strange.
