mass storage controller driver

where can i get the mass storage controlleer driver. i am running win xp; before i format my win xp, my pioneer dvd a108 burner was working fine, after the format, it only see the dvd rom and a cd-r burner; but the pioneer dvd burner does not show up; i think the dvd burner is connected to the controller. appreciate for any help.
 
Does it not have the driver, or is the driver corrupted? If the driver it has isn't working, try removing the hardware, and rebooting. It will force Windows to install it as a new device which works a lot of the time.

i don't have the driver for the mass storage controller. the ata controller does not see the pioneer dvd burner;
