Mass file copying

I am trying to copy a large quantity of files off my Windows NT Server onto anothr machine. Some of the files have developed weird characters in their names and windows chokes when it tries to transfer the file. Does anyone know of a program that will copy a directory (and sub dirs) no matter what the files name is... or that can copy a whole bunch of files and report to me what files it encountered trouble with in a log somewhere. LMK.

I;ve had probs like this before too. So I zipped all the files into one zip and then transfered the single file.

I haven't tried that. Won't I get the same error with the weird file names?
