I have a question regarding ME3, (and other Origin games I guess, but am now only interested in ME3).

What kind of install limits do they have and can you play offline like Steam? For instance, theoretically speaking, could I install ME on both my laptop and desktop by only purchasing one game? And if I never tried to go online at the same time, could I have totally different games going on the laptop and desktop, (theoretically)?

From what I know of the EULA, EA has smartly done something similar to Stardock. You can install infinite times to as many devices as you like, but all are tied to a single account and you are limited to the number of installs per month (think it's 5 or something).

As for offline mode, I hadn't tried it either. So I just opened up origin, set it to offline mode, unplugged my ethernet cable to be sure and fired it up no problem. Game played as normal for the few seconds I was running around the Normandy.

Interesting. Thanks for the info.
