Mass effect 3 didnt get achievement?

I did beat the game, and got the patriot achievement(make the final assault) which would be the last mission, now the problem is, i was allowed to do this mission where you attack the illusive mans base blah blah save the world the ending holy craap reapers blah blah decisions decisions blah. Now after this i didnt get the achievement, Legend (Mission accomplished) which i assume is the ending of the game. The only reason i think i didnt get this is because i had leftover missions, so i just did every single one of them now, but i didnt get the achievement, does this mean i have to redo the entire mission which is a good half an hour or longer mission so it would be nice if there was an answer to this and if anyone could tell me it ill be thankful.

I think you have to redo the last mission. If you had a save from partway through, you could retry from there, but you probably overwrote your auto-save while you were doing the other missions. The optional missions don't affect the achievement. I don't remember when the Legend achievement popped. I read something about the

Ughhh crap! I accidentally did the refusal ending, but what happened was i walked to the beam, which is where you would do the sacrifice... And there was no bridge to walk into the beam like i saw in videos, so i just randomly shot and it did a refusal.... Soo looks like I do have to redo it. And of course its the longest mission in the game.

Some of the endings require a certain level of War Assets to be available. I only read about the Refusal ending online, so it might not be the cause. I would make sure to have a save just in case the achievement doesn't unlock again.
