Mass Effect 3: Coming holiday 2011

So will the game will be on PS3 since EA broke the exclusivity contract?

My guess we'll know at E3. I'm sure they are checking with MS to see how much cash they can get to make Sony wait until 2012.

I can't wait... I think ME2 should have won game of the year.

Yes, and ME2 will be out on PS3 in about a month.

and whats sad/funny about that is it will be priced as a new game...59.99. Whereas you can pick up the pc version for $15. Speaking of which i should pick up 1 and 2 so im ready for 3 when it comes 🙂

The downside is that if you mix and match versions of the sequels, you won't have the opportunity to watch your game choices from ME2 reflected in ME3. Granted, the net effect of the carryover from the original Mass Effect to ME2 seemed pretty minimal to me, but I did like how it reinforced the epic scope of the storyline. It's for that reason alone that I'll likely finish the trilogy on the 360, even though I could get the PS3 version as well.

LOL, why would it?

No idea. I was just trying to justify buying Mass Effect 2 for yet ANOTHER platform. 😀

This is why I'm going to keep playing on the 360.

Related question here: I have tried to finish ME1 twice and got bored with the story. Should I just abandon the series, or does ME2 have enough of it's own to just write-off ME1 and jump into 2?

I thought ME1's story was awesome but ME2 was kind of lame. ME2 more than made up for it with amazing gameplay and polish though (I played it on PC).
