Ok, let's keep this thread spoiler-free besides what relates to earning credits!

I'm 20 hours into Mass Effect 2 with roughly 300,000 credits. That initially sounded like a lot until I saw that just about every upgrade from a store kiosk costs 25,000 to 75,000 credits (after asking for a discount). Because there are a lot of upgrades to get in this game, I'm wondering if there is anything I can be doing to get richer?

NOTE: If there is a credit bonus for any main quest mission I DON'T want to hear about it!

Thanks for the help.

All you can do is make sure you do every mission, and that you try and hack everything you can to get extra credits. There's also usually a way to get discounts from most vendors so do that before buying their stuff. Also you get a pretty substantial bonus from replaying the game or importing an old character.

When you start your second play through you get $350,000 extra credits to start with.

The only way to continually earn money is to bet on fights on the Krogan home world. It is pennies though.
