Mass Confusion about NVIDIA's G70

Tells you of Nvidia hoax about N40 to fool ATI, i know i have mentioned the n40 was 400/1000 at prelaunch and 1 card manu actually had 400/1000 for sale, but as usual i was slated for this by experts here, i didnt know it was claimed it was 8x2 instead 16x1 pipes to more fool ati into makin a 12pipe card.

Anyhow i am going back to read it all.

That was a pretty good article, and I think he's probably right about the G70 being 90nm and 110nm was a false leak.

well confusion is a good way to beat the enemy

ok it gets us all in a whirl, but we'll forgive them when they release a stella product, which will be even more stella by the fact that it was something unexpected. because theve been giving out apparently legit info to lure us away from the real thing

would be quality if they manage to dupe ATI (and us)

Of course fooling can work both ways, as in marketing a featre that doesn't work. I hope they don't get too carried away with all the fooling going on.
