I thought the insurgents were in Falluja? Oh wait, they were in Najaf...or was it Samarra? Maybe it was Basra....BAGHDAD, Nov 10 (Reuters) - Several masked men with rocket-propelled grenades and assault rifles blocked a bridge and a main road in western Baghdad on Wednesday, residents said.
Clashes erupted, they said, but no details were available.
Reuters Television footage showed about 15-20 men roaming unchallenged among traffic on the road in the Ghazaliya area before they blocked the bridge and the clashes started.

BAGHDAD (AFP) - Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi extended a closure of Baghdad's international airport to civilian traffic for another 24 hours as part of a series of emergency measures, his spokesman said.
"The prime minister has decided to extend the closure of Baghdad International Airport for a further 24 hours," Thair al-Naqib said in a statement.
Allawi on Monday decided to shut the airport for 48-hours after he declared a state of emergency the previous day in a desperate bid to curb the escalating violence that touched has his own family.
