This is what happens when a truck driver lets his mind wander.

Car 1
Car 2
Car 3

I was sitting in traffic on 95 listening to some AC/DC on the way home from work, when I look in my rear view and see a big ass Semi coming at me he knocked me about 5 feet. I think my car came out pretty good, got to love Toyotas. :)

Don't count on it. He's looking at a new bumper, bumper supports, bumper cover and possibly some other damage. Look how the trunk doesn't line up with the latch and the taillights are pushed out. I'm guessing at least $2k.

Right, and for a rear end accident that is minimal, especially when getting hit by a semi.

WTF?? You were hit by a semi and thats the only damage you have? I get rear ended by a stupid Ford Focus or something and my car has way more damage than you!:|

I thought about some duct tape, but I found the Bungie cord and it fit just right. Every redneck has one somewhere. :)

that's barely a tap, hardly "mashed"

the bumper isn't even scrached, but still I'm estimating about $2000 in repairs.

No I think it's mashed, you can't really see it in the pics but the bumper got pushed all the way back past the trunk and bounced back out.

$2k sounds about right.

Of course, I've been reading insurance claims all day, and if the OP wanted to be a real dick he could get about $6k in "massage therapy" and chiropractic visits tacked onto that

Naw I'm not the type to do that, I just want it fixed and a rental while it's in the shop. He seemed like a decent guy I'm not going to be a dick about it. ****** happens. :)

 for you.
I just hope they don't give a Pontiac Grand AM for a rental like they did my GF, what an utter pile of crap.
