i think that regardless what team you play against. if they are shooting 60+% from the field, you are probably going to lose. no matter how good your team is. and grundy is still on fire from yesterday. let's see how he does against the dukeys tomorrow. i hope he lits them up for 40pts.

As a diehard Terps fan, I just can't bring myself to say go Duke. But I won't cheer State either
Feel good about it though...MD played like absolute ass, and NC State shot the f-in lights out, but only won by 4. They need to stop tooting their own horns and play like they can every minute.

The reason it wasn't more than 4 points is b/c of foul shots at the end of the game. It would have been a 10 - 12 point lead.

Maryland just got outclassed and outplayed yesterday.

I'll be cheering NC State today, they've been underrated the whole season and will probably surprise some people in the NCAA tourney. I'm actually kind of relieved that Maryland lost, now they have time to recoup and get ready for a run to the NCAA finals. This is actually good for MD cause now they will most likely get the #1 seed in the South, instead of the East. That means that they get to play whoever comes out of the West (which I believe is gonna be the toughest bracket), instead of having to face Duke or Kansas in the Final Four.

If you look at history, the national champion has rarely won their own conference tournament. Sometimes its too much to go through a conference tourney, and then go through the NCAA bracket. Which would you rather win? Maryland is my early pick to win it all, not necessarily because they are the best team, but because I think they will have the path of least resistence to get to the finals.

Sometimes I worry that Maryland will always be jinxed and never win the big one.

I worry that they are like a man with a small penis. No matter how good looking he is, how kind he is, how much money he makes -- in the end, he will never win the big one because of this lack of endowment.
