On Thursday night my sister held a Mary Kay party which my girlfriend attended. On Saturday the Mary Kay saleswoman called my girlfriend and asked her if she would like to be a face model for a party being held on Monday night. Is this common practice? Does anyone know if this pays? Thanks.
 
Mt 74 year old Mom as a 'Mary Kay Girl.' I do not think the 'models' are paid. Asking one to be a model is common practice and the only rewards are a facial and the makeup as far as I know.
 
I've done that a few times for my sales lady, I don't get paid but I do get a lot of free product and always get first pick from her sale/discontinued products bag, it's a lot of fun too,good excuse to drink wine and hang out🙂
