I have a P5E WS Pro but Asus uses the same Marvel PATA/SATA controller on lots of their motherboards...so how do I get this thing to recognize a SATA drive as a boot drive?
I have a SATA drive connected to one of the internal Marvell SATA connections, and the drive is recognized in Windows but I cannot see the drive in the BIOS to set it as the boot-drive when the system posts.
I have played with all the options I can find, the Marvel ROM does start at post but reports no drives found...then you get into windows (installed on another SATA drive connected to ICH9R) and I can see the drive just fine, copy from it, reformat, etc.
Very annoying thus far.
