So.. not long after photographing what *might* be evidence of recent water on Mars, but certainly a change in the landscape, the Mars Global Surveyor goes silent! Coincidence? I think NOT!

If it got there from Earth, launching something like that into orbit must have thrown him flat to the ground (remember conservation of momentum). I hope he's ok.
