Martial Law?

i cant beleive what i am seeing on the television today, i dont even think its hit me on what actually is happening. it completly boggles my mind, and ive been hearing that martial law could be a possibility as a result from this, which means they go agaisnt everything the constitution stands for. one of my teachers thought it might be a possibilty thats why i bring it up, i hope to god it isnt.

If it came to that, then the movie "The Siege" would be all to real. Lets not go on increasing the fear factor of nighmareish rumors and concerns though.

um, not to nitpick, but it's "martial" law. Marshal law had something to do with foreign relations with central america I think(could be thinking marshall plan tho, if I am, apologies).

It's MARTIAL law, not MARSHALL.

And no it won't, unless there is continued attacks.

Martial law only gets instituted when the civilian law enforcements are unable to handle the situation, and so the military needs to intervened.

Also an interesting note, under martial law, the government has the right to execute all prisoners (I'm sure you can imagine why they hold this power).

I don't think the situation is bad enough for MARTIAL law to kick in.
Martial law are design for military to take over local enforcement across the country (or city)
unless there is continuing attacks in the future, the martial law will not be enforce.
However, expect huge delay for any future air travel in the US.

I just read that martial law HAS been declared in DC. Although, since there seem to be dozens of different reports from the media, this may not be accurate.

Martial law is terrible. All it does is punish innocent citizens, with a bunch of mid-level military jarheads getting a power trip. We don't need to do this.

Well, if we keep on getting all these stupid attacks, maybe it should. I say that if we find this group of a$$holes that did this I would just shoot them on site. :|
