That Kung Fu guy on the video was a joke. Bring on a real martial art expert next time.

No, he was just made to look like a joke by a real fighter. Your "real" martial arts expert is someone else's punching bag.
Like I said earlier a good boxer would knock out a wrestker/grippler..I mean look at Mike Tyson for example 😀 he would rule PRIDE and K1 I think that there is very little doubdt generally that he is the most fearsome fighter in history specially when it comes to no-rules type of fights!!!! He would dominate totally by his technic and fighting instinct.

I've often wondered how Mike Tyson would do.

I think someone may be good at boxing but not very good at wrestling. He definitely has knockout power, but if someone takes him down and controls him, he might not have any chance to knock someone out.
eventually he would knock them out 😉 first he would beat them at there own game so to speak.

I do agree that the "Kung Fu Expert" they are referring to in the video lacks basic stance knowledge. He should have taken a shorter stance and put his strong hand shoulder toward the larger opponent. That's the first thing REAL Gong fu practioners learn, short stances allowing you to have a lower center of gravity.

In real life, Wushu is practically useless. It's called "Dancing" and not Martial Arts in China. It's exhibitionism. Sadly most "Kung Fu Schools" in America are teaching Tai Chi dance and Wushu, not real Shaolin Gong Fu.

However, I still hold to the "real life" argument where MMA is more practical and takes far less time to develop.
