Marshall Faulk, Any shot at HOF??

he had a few AMAZING seasons, but other than those few AMAZING seasons, he has been plagued with injuries.

at this rate, he is not going to be able to put togethe another 4 or 5 healthy seasons in my opinion.

so, if he doesn't , does he still make the HOF??

of course that would also bring Terrell Davis into the argument as well.

WITHOUT question Emmitt Smith is a First ballot HOFer because of his Super bowls, his Longevity and he was a VERY VERY good back tho perhaps even at his peak not as good as faulk or davis.

BUT longevity has always been a consideration for HOFs.

Gayle Sayers made the HOF right? so why not a Terrell Davis or Marshall Faulk? are they not as good as Sayers was?? btw, i've never seen Sayers play but he is known as a pretty amazing back.

WITHOUT question Emmitt Smith is a First ballot HOFer because he is the NFL all time leading rusher.

i realize this. but every time RB's are discussed someone brings up that Sanders is better Smith, etc etc.

it was just a preemptive strike.

Marshal Fualk will definitely be a HOF especially that year where he led the RAms to a super bowl victory with 2000 all-purpose yards (which was like 2nd best ever? not sure though). He's a great player all-around, I just wish he wouldn't get injured all the time. I'm glad to see he's playing this season 🙂
