Man that show was great... pure comedy gold. I was just thinking how awesome it would be if they could[manage to] bring back the cast and revive it. It would be called Still Married with Children and would be a time skip which takes place in todays times about 10 years later. Unfortunately it's never gonna happen since the cast is tied up most recently with Ed O'neil and Modern Family. :awe:

That show was great.. though the last time that I watched it my stomach turned because of how trashy the are. I just cant watch it anymore. It puts me in a depressing mood.

No, remaking it would be bad.
The kids are in their mid-30's/early 40's and the dad is over 60. That would not be funny, it would suck ass.

Who's that riding in the sun?
Who's the man with the itchy gun?
Who's the man who kills for fun?
Psycho Dad, Psycho Dad, Psycho Dad.

He sleeps with a gun
but he loves his son
Killed his wife 'cos she weighed a ton.
Psycho Dad, Psycho Dad, Psycho Dad.

A little touched or so we're told
Killed his wife 'cos she had a cold
Might as well she was gettin' old
Psycho Dad, Psycho Dad, Psycho Dad.

He's quick with a gun
And his job ain't done.
Killed his wife by twenty-one,
Psycho Dad!

Who's that riding in the sleigh?
Who's that firing along the way?
Who's roughing up bums on Christmas day?
Psycho Dad, Psycho Dad, Psycho Dad

Who's the tall, dark stranger there.
The one with the gun and the icy stare.
The one with the scalp of his ex-wife's hair!
Psycho Dad, Psycho Dad, Psycho Dad!

Who's that riding across the plain?
Who's lost count of the wives he's slain?
Who's the man who's plumb insane?
Psycho Dad, Psycho Dad, Psycho Dad

He's a durn good pa, but he hates the law.
He's likes to eat it raw, He's Psycho Dad!

It's not a remake, more like a sequel. Since times have changed, there's a lot of material that could be written that takes advantage of it. Whether it would suck or not depends on the writing but if they could apply their original formula, I think it would work. And the point is that the kids are in their 30's-40's and still living with their parents. Als life would still suck as he still sells womens shoes. In any case, it's a moot point, it's never gonna happen. Maybe for good reason but imo I think it would work. :p

Christina Applegate also cut off her boobies (cancer) so there is no show there.

I thought it was hilarious back in the early 90's.. I hadn't watched it for years and couldn't even make it through an entire episode.

It was a great comedy 10 years ago and still is today. I have my DVR set to record it and watch about 5 or 6 episodes a week. You can't help but laugh. Most fans of the show will think about have a current episode being done. Yes, it would be like a reunion at the Bundy house 10 years or so later. It would be sort of like the Seinfeld show cast getting together to do a few more shows. The Bundy family had a great following and the true fans never wanted to show to end. I know I was disappointed. My favorite episodes was their Labor Day Bar-B-Que and eating the creamated ashes. I still laugh hard when I see that episode. The writers were excellent.

I think it would be hilarious if they did a new show. Even just like 1 or 2 episodes would be great

It did start to get tired in the last year though. They started repeating their jokes, and you could tell the actors weren't into it anymore.

Which is why I thought they would have some good material now that a decade has passed... if they were to do some reunion shows that is. :)
