That was a BAD idea.

If she's hung up on the idea that virginity is somehow a virtue, I'm willing to bet that she'll still have serious hangups about sex and sexuality once you're married. I would much rather be with someone who is as comfortable with their sexuality as I am with mine; someone willing to experiment and have fun and try new things..
