I was just reading about Anand and Vinney's marriage and I was wondering how long my fellow ATOTers have been married. With todays divorce rate a better question might be How many times have you been married? My wife and I are celebrating our 25th anniversary Sept 20th in Las Vegas. :)

Married for 1 year and 4 months.

The reason that people say that marriage is an institution is because it feels that way sometimes.

"Marriage isn't a word. It's a sentence." :)

2nd marriage, working great for 5 years now, together for ~7 years, 1 month & 10 days:D

1st marriage was good for about 1 month, finally divorced after about 2.5 years, still fighting @ the drop of a hat. (although those child support checks just keep coming...)

First marriage was an ill-advised attempt on my part to save an alcoholic. I hung in there for almost 4 years until I realized that he and his drug addict friends were putting my life and our child's life in danger. It was very hard for me to divorce, because that wasn't how I was brought up... my parents have been married for 51 years. Two years later, I met The Mister, and he and I have been married for 12 years now. It hasn't been easy, but it's been well worth it.

Happily married for over 3 years now. I got very lucky in finding the lovely woman I married.

I have a friend who had the misfortune of getting married at 16 due to pregnancy. Marriage only lasted long enough for them to have 3 kids. He got married again about a year and a half ago and has been happily married since then.

the ones that give marriage a bad reputation is people like Jennifer Lopez and other Holliwood people who get married and divorced like if it's nothing.
