Marley and Me

I just returned from it, I thought it was very well done, but I am a bit bias because they filmed it a mile from my house (West Chester, Pa.)

It's ummm, like based on a ...you know true story...so you can umm, look it up.

also imdb.com is a wonderous thing.

Ah hell...I thought this was gonna be about Oldsmoboat spending time with Bob Marley and their "Ganja Adventures."

no shit. He used to be awesome, now he does this smarmy junk all the time. He was better when he was writing Wes Anderson movies 🙁

I own the book and still have not read it. Do ya really think I'm gonna get around to seeing the movie if I can't get to the book? 😉

takes less time to watch the movie than it does to read the book

This. Usually a movie or similiar has a bunch of plot holes or changes made compared to the book.

*spoiler*
Also IIRC, in the book the dog dies. Have no idea if it does in the movie.

that's true most of the time. there are 1 or 2 movies that the movies = books in terms of quality.

It's a date movie, ya dope.

Conan and Leno really loved it for some reason. Maybe it has some NBC tie in.

I heard the movie was a downer, and I hate downer movies. I go to see movies to be happy/uplifted. Probably wouldn't of seen it anyways.

PS anyone wanna hear my owen wilson impression? It's not too shabby. I got kind of a crappy mic.

It's really only in america that every movie is required to have a happy ending...many other countries don't want to see happy endings.

However, any of you that are confused should google it..it is a true story.

Hardly any movies in America have happy endings. Everyone wants to make the biggest downer to try and win an Oscar.
