Prof. Davies of Duquesne U lectures on the two camps of opinion on globalization:
1. That free trade causes a consolidation of power of resources and at the expense of the individual.
2. That free trade causes a decentralization of power and greater dissemination of resources among individuals.
He then uses data models to show which of the two camps the data supports.

His conclusions:
Increased trade correlates with increased per-capita income
Increased trade correlates with increased gender equality
Increased trade correlates with decreased child labor rates
In the US, Increased trade correlates with decreased unemployment
In the US, Increased trade correlates with increased wages
See what you think.
My opinion: Is obvious. Free trade in the long term improves everyone's quality of life. My only disagreement with this video is the tail end with that nifty time-based model. He makes a correlation=causation argument.
