Personally, I find Mark McGwire to be a pompous a$$hole. I think it is ridiculous to rip your employer for taking its time to make a difficult decision. Baseball had a very difficult decision to make, with many people supporting cancellation of games, while other supported resuming play. Mark McGwire always says stupid sh!t like this and shouldn't be listened to.

Mark is a little narrow sometimes. I think he is a great role model and a good person, but I don't know if I would enjoy his company.

He has painted the situation black and white and he doesn't allow that people are different.

I personally don't know what an appropriate duration is for professional and college sports to stop playing. BUT I do know that the players and teams (especially MBL and NFL) could turn this weeks games into charity fund raisers. It would allow people to relax a bit while still contributing to the national needs. And god knows all those guys can afford it.

i agree 100%. if bonds had said some of the sh!t about macquire that mac said about bonds, the press would have a field day.

Its the double standard that really bothers me.

as to the i hope bonds doesn't break his record. OMG how stupid are you, records are meant to be broken. it's like when aaron was gonna break babe's record and he got all this hate mail saying he wasnt as good a ball player, well, if he wasn't as good he never woulda broken the record so quit being stupid.
