Which reflects directly on those idiots who somehow thought she was the most qualified person to represent their interests in Congress. I keep wondering WTF they were thinking when they did that. And I get the feeling they're going to send her right back in when her term expires out of ignorance driven spite.
if I remember correctly she ran unopposed in the general election, she just had to win the primary, and in her neck of the woods it was easy.

Interviews I've seen in her district are perfectly happy with her. Don't remember one of the interviewers being black though. Might be a rarity in her area, more reason to fear them.

How can you not believe in evolution? It's like not believing in maths.

There are some religious folk that will outright deny anything that can be construed to be against their religious beliefs, and promote anything that is purported to support their religious beliefs. By constantly stating things like "humans evolved over the course of millions of years" directly contradicts the exact wording of the book of Genesis, and as a result, those people do not like evolution.

On the flip side, there are some that choose to believe in things like theistic evolution, which is hinged on the idea that Biblical verses don't have to be taken outright literally, and you can suggest that the creation story is just a vastly simplified account of God promoting/causing the evolution of humans. Although, when you get down to it, it sounds an awful lot like it's pulling the same horse hockey as Intelligent Design by trying to shove God into any nook and cranny it can find in science.

honestly, small pox was a bioweapon long before it was known what actually caused it, as was the black plague and neither of those were lab created.

Marginal Traitor Greene held a press conference today to announce that she just found out the Holocaust was bad and actually not at all like wearing a mask or getting vaccinated.

Major Dumbass : "The horrors of the holocaust are something that some people don’t even believe happened."

This is an apology?

I'm assuming she only apologized bc she hated the fact she couldn’t go after Omar for her recent comments without getting raked over the coals.

Yup, she's basically saying that she didn't realize the Holocaust was that bad until she went to a museum.

What state is Greene from???
Remind me never to go near that state.
Greene is one thing, but those voters? Those who elected her? Now THAT is a real holocaust. Adolf would be so proud.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the difference between denying evolution as a scientific fact and belief that human beings are not a product of evolutionary divergence from a common ape ancestor.

MTG said "I don't believe in evolution." What do you think is the importance of this distinction here?

Oh more addressing the general commentary. It's not a binary believe in evolution or not situation, but she has reduced it to such. Plenty of people think man was created but recognize evolution in general, particularly with viruses. She is, however, a toxic dumbass. Either completely ignorant and indignant when this is pointed out, or intentionally playing such a character with no possible pro-social reason.

Hmm, so her next argument is gonna be that her comments were fine because the Holocaust didn't happen (with her evidence being that it was 6 million Jews and not the 8-9million that used to be touted - not kidding that's been all it took to get some to believe the Holocaust didn't happen at all)?
