Yeah, Detroit stunk on turkey day. Can we have the NFL appoint somebody other than Detroit to play on Thanksgiving.
 
Who cares, it's Detroit. They should get some other team to host the early TG game though, I am so tired of watching crappy games because Detroit is playing.

the tradition started in Detroit. so, fat chance on it ever moving.

there's talk of a night game being added in addition to Detroit / Dallas games.

although, you could just not watch the Lions game.

Usually I don't because they suck so hard. In fact if there was another game on at the same time I bet hardly anybody would ever watch the Lions Game.

After reading the Yahoo article that describes how much of the mess lies in Millen's hands, that's a very good question.

basically because the Ford family (owners) like him, and think he's a good "football guy".

i'm thinking they have failed to notice the team's record for the past few years, and were also bound & gagged on Thanksgiving Day and subsequently presented with a fake Detroit Free Press proclaiming the Lions' triumphant performance.
