One of the funnest console games I've played online, hardly any lag to be found anywhere. It's gotta be hard to have a racing game with very little connectivity problems. Can't really join/host games though it just matches you up with whoever else is playing and you can vote on the map. Still, I think Nintendo did a really good job with it. Plus the Ghost racing is fun but pretty easy. I'm a little confused on Ghost mode, I figured it would rank you with everyone else who's played the course but it seems to only rank the times of the races played on your own console. I wanna try to get the best lap/course times nationally - Ah well :p

Mario Kart Wii with casual friends is fun. Playing it online against strangers to win, not so much.

i agree that mario kart wii online is really fun. It's great that you can have two players playing online on the same console too.

I think that Mario Kart is great online, but I haven't played a single race since I bought Dr. Mario Online

Ooo, I hadn't heard of that until I just searched for it. How does it work against other players? Just the usual 2 player Dr mario? Says there's up to 4 players also?

It's 2 players online, 4 players locally with the Virus Buster game.

I hear complaints that they should have done 4 players, but 2 is good because it's fast to get a game going.

quit and rejoin until you get people who are closer to your skill level. I have a blast playing, but then again, I win most of the time... my score is over 8000.. well it was.. last time I played, I lost 3 in a row and shed 500 points in about 12 minutes D:

but 3rd lap blue shells are part of the charm right??

edit: oh and you can see your time trials compared against others regionally and world wide. if you're not in the top 10, it only shows approximately where you are relative to other peoples mii's

I just figured out how to see other's best times earlier, pretty cool. What's even cooler is you can watch replays of the top times, and see just how they did it, and it's always amazing how people get the best time in the world. Just watch the best time for GBA Bowser's Castle, it's nuts :p - Dunno how he does that jump.

I did what I thought was a perfect race on SNES Mario Circuit 3 and I wasn't even within 10 seconds of the world time, 10 seconds is a lot to shed. People do those damn wheelies all the time. Wheelies are kinda unresponsive for me, I have to shake the hell out of that Wiimote.
