"In one skirmish in a marsh on Baghdad?s outskirts, Marines with bayonets battled Arab fighters from abroad who said they had come to Iraq to carry out a ?jihad? against Americans."

Your subject line is misleading.

The article says "Marines WITH bayonets battled Arab fighters".... it doesn't say that they used bayonets on those fighters as your subject line claims.

Yeah...I'm sure the bayonets were just for show.

I never said they didn't intend to use them, I just said they didn't use them.

Fox correspondent Greg Kelly said one U.S. tank was destroyed during the journey, but there was no immediate confirmation of that from the Pentagon
This picked from your link. This is not true what he said was that one tank was disabled and then later on in the attack he said that the tank was being towed by another tank.
