Marines having a hard time finding new recruits?

Was flipping channels and just saw a recruiting commerical for USMC in spanish. Are they going to add another 16 weeks to boot camp for english classes?

spanish speaking people are a large population in the US. I'm assuming you saw this on a spanish language network and it makes sense that the commercial would be in spanish. if it was on an english language channel then i have no clue why it was in spanish except maybe a ff'up by the advertising folks.

I know many Spanish speaking people here and most are fluent in English too.

Historically, the Marines have never had a hard time recruiting. They don't have very high manning levels, for one thing.
