How did I know that a thread about a boneyard would bring rbloedow over? 😉

j/k buddy 😛

The Super Stallion is the Corps' only heavy lift helicopter, and its workhorse. It moves large amounts of cargo and troops long distances and performs rescue missions. It can carry up to 55 Marines and can use slings to transport heavy equipment such as Humvees or even small armored vehicles.

If Marines die, I hope Rummy fries.

Those things must be OLD.

Hard not to go into P&N territory on this, since it's due to the incompetence of the planning influenced and approved of by our cmmander-in-chief and his team.

"Mission Accomplished."

Good lord. If need be, could all of these planes fly again if the necessary equipment was provided? The airframes look to be intact, although I guess the airframes are way past their "hours lifespan"

a lot of them still can be. i know they do a lot of work on 747's that have been retired, and they retrofit them to other functions, see if you can find a cap from History channel which was all about boneyards, it was very cool. tons of planes and what not out there still.
