Yes, just go to your local bike shop or look on the Intaeweb.
You should be able to pick up a good wheel from $100 and up.

Wow what timing.

I was just going to start a thread in the FS/FT forum selling some bike parts I have.

I work at a bike shop and I'm in the process of upgrading to disk brakes, so now I have a set of REAL NICE hand built wheels, a frame a brand new set of shocks and a brand new Deore front disk set-up I want to sell.

The wheels were hand built by me (a master wheel builder, trained at "The United Bicycle Institute") and are in EXCELLENT SHAPE. They are built on older Deore DX hubs (second to the top of the line the year they were made) and since they are the older small body hubs, they are lighter than most you can buy today. The Rims are Velocity Aero Heat (442 Grams each) and they are laced up using alloy nipples. (MUCH MUCH lighter then the chrome plated BRASS nipples that come on 99% of the wheels out there! These wheels were lovingly cared for and are almost as good as new (A few light scratches on the brake surface and thats ALL) they are perfectly true, both side to side and up and down. The bearings are prefect as well and feel as good as any sealed bearings you are likely to come across. They also have TransX "locking" skewers and the cassette cogs have less than 50 miles on them. (Set up as a 7 speed, so if you have 8 or 9 you will have to swap out the free hub body)

LMK if you are interested and I'll PM you the price I'm asking for the set!
