right, marijuana makes you smart. I'll believe this paper rather than my own experience. I've watched several friends of mine smoke themselves stupid.
pssst...

They were stupid to begin with.

Zing !!!!

So those pothead friends I had really did figure out time travel that saturday night a couple of years ago? Man, they should get government grants so they can stop working as cooks at ski resorts and pursue advanced physics research.

This research would allow medicinal marijuana to be brought back by the US Supreme Court. They got rid of it because it showed no actual medicial benefits...be interesting if they actually did research and this turned out to be true...

there ARE many [many] medical benefits to using marijuana . . . the US government CHOOSES to IGNORE them just as it will also ignore this new evidence.

It's so funny how many people anxiously wait for ANY reason for their drug habit to be legalized.

Explain to patients who inquire that these findings about marijuana are preliminary and the reported neurogenesis does not involve smoked or ingested marijuana but a much stronger synthetic compound delivered to rats.

Do you people know what synthetic means? This has no relation to you smoking marijuana for fun, this is advanced chemistry.

There's enough valid reasons out there to legalize it Einstein besides this one

you'd think if it's really promising, it'd be published in Nature or Cell or something, and not Journal of Clinical Investigation. a pretty junk journal IMO.

True...Ill believe it when I see it ....but right now..my friends that smoke everyday dont seem to be getting any smarter.

read the article tho, it's some hyper pure 200x stronger than THC in pot, and they've tested it on rats only..conclusive? I think not.

Plus it flies in the face of peer-reviewed tests that say it messes with your brain in a bad way...

200x stronger than THC... oh man where can I get ahold of this stuff 🙂

I don't think any amount of positive brain stipulation MJ could have would counter the stupid sh*t you do/say.

Haha, try driving while high though, you feel like your floating on a couch!!!!!!!
