So I was making cookies, and noticed I was out of butter... "oh, I can substitue margarine"

Damn margarine is crap. Doesn't melt properly, tastes like carp, forces me to add extra flour to the cookies to try and get proper consistency... they come out like crap.

What the hell is the point of margarine? it sucks :|

I'm gonig to throw out my cookies and make a steak now.
 
margarine sucks. butter is soo much better for baking and tastes a lot better.

of course for pie crust nothing beats lard

You just don't know how to bake. There's nothing wrong with margarine.

I know I can make the same cookies w/ butter and they come out tasting good.

Sounds like it to me. We only use margarine and everything tastes normal...

No, butter is better.
1) That thing that connects the large and small intestines...yeah, that...I was born premature and it didn't develop fully. I have problems with over-processed foods.
2) My mom has been baking for 30+ years and makes some DAMN fine cookies...I have to convince her to use butter every time now. When she first made them with butter, they were...well, just better.

But isn't butter really unhealthy?
