Course I like Mardi Gras better. Seems to be way more partying. Down in Louisiana we would party for days before Mardi Gras, and on Mardi Gras it was nuts. St Patricks day was always a ramped down version of Mardi Gras for me.

For instance, in Dallas they only had one parade on Saturday at 11:00 am. wtf? On mardi gras they have at least 3 parades on the day, all of them wild.

Couse this could be where I live, I am sure it is bigger in other places.

I haven't seen anything good for Mardi Gras anywhere outside of New Orleans (Obviously, I've never been to Rio)

So I'd have to go with St. Paddy's...Never anything wrong w/binge drinking for a saint or whatever

They have awesome mardi gras around the gulf coast, from Beaumont to Florida. Course the best in South LA

Hopefully we're good on hurricanes for a while... ;)

I can't get used to people not celebrating Mardi Gras. It would be like not having Christmas.
