Mardi Gras or Jazzfest?

I have a place to stay for free for either event. I am assured excellent locations for the parade routes of most of the Krewes. And as for Jazzfest, I have free transportation and some backstage passes for one of the weekends. I can only go to one, unfortunately.


Mardi Gras:
Feb 19 through 25 (Thursday to Wednesday)

Jazzfest:
Fri. April 23 through Sun. May 2

If you are single, then Mardi Gras. Nothing better then gettting hammered and having women breasts all around you. :beer:
 
I'm going to Mardi Gras, February 21st through the 24th. Jazzfest is probably a more culturally fulfilling event...but ya gotta do Mardi Gras at least once in your life!
 
depends on what youre looking for. if you want one big frat party, make it mardi gras. if you want to enjoy the culture and atmosphere of the actual city, make it jazzfest.

im doing fat tuesday this year. i alternate between the two, if i dont go to both.
 
Mail order your beads now and have them delivered to your hotel. You can buy a pallet full of beads for what they charge for them during Mardi Gras.

 
Jazzfest. I had to make the same choice this year and I chose Jazzfest. I miss living in NO. Unfortunately, the schedule isn't out yet for Jazzfest, so it was sort of a blind choice.
