Probably didn't see it, or figured the refs were going to do something about it. You really don't want to get your team penalized 15 yards or even get thrown out during a bowl game.
 
i dont think any VT fan will defend that action. all the people i watch the game with(all vt fanatics) were pissed.

so, there is no defending it. i highly doubt youll find any VT fan that will.

just isolate those two...vick..williams and the team isnt thuggish.

Nah, some team will draft him based on his name alone (it will sell jerseys and fill some seats) and he can become a sub-par QB just like his brother.

(And yes, I still think it's absolutely ridiculous that Michael Vick is going to the Pro Bowl. He has one of (if not the) lowest QB rating of any starting QB in the league. Sure, he's fast, very athletic, but he's just an awful thrower. The Falcons are never going anywhere with him.)

Do we need to get into his off the field antics?

The quarterback and head coach are the leaders of a football team. If the QB is an obvious thug, and the head coach won't do anything about it, I don't see it as a stretch to classify the program as thuggish.

PS. Wasn't Vick given an ultimatum that if he pulled any more crap he was done?

I think you've forgotten the purpose of a university isn't to entertain, but to educate and prepare young people for society. If the most visible student at VT is a lawless idiot, what does that say about the school?

falcons never got anywhere before him either. heeh not since 98. he has turned the program around some one. 2001 he didnt start they were 7-9 2 seasons before that they were 5-11 4-12.

since hes been there.... 2002 9-6... 2003---he was out for the season 5-11. 2004 11-5..2005-8-8.

so he has gotten them a winning record when healthy. hehe.
