start saving your pennies, folks! coming March 2011 you'll have enough reasons to break your piggy banks.

i'm talking:

Dragon Age 2
Crysis 2
F.3.A.R
Homefront
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Shogun 2: Total War
Darkspore
Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War 2 - Retribution

and shortly afterwards:
Portal 2
The Witcher 2
Star Wars: The Old Republic

and many more!

its gonna be a good year.

If The Old Republic does in fact come out and it's decent, I will be living in my computer room!

i'm a little worried about DA2, i haven't seen any gameplay videos and less than a year after the release of the original i dont know how much they've managed to improve graphics and build a new game. but i'm sure-as-hell excited.

Only ones i care about there are portal 2 and crysis 2. Im also anticipating BF3, i didnt have an amaing time with BF2 but it was pretty good, something different. Im sick to death of the tiny maps in online FPS these days, roll on BF3 32 vs 32 madness plz :D

EDIT: Also dead space 2 is coming soon! Im pretty psyched for that.

That Red Orchestra looks very good. Waiting on that too. Some nice games coming.

Mostly interested in Shogun 2, I haven't played a Total War game since the original. I expect Portal 2 will be great, and I'll keep an eye out on Witcher 2. That being said, I probably wont pick any of them up at release as I have a decent sized back log of games to work through.

I'm in the same boat man. And after following it for the last 2 years, I'm pretty excited with how it's progressed.

portal 2 - do want. the rest, meh

agreed, except maybe Deus Ex, but I never played the 1st 2 so I'm not a fanboy like most people here are. none of those other games really interests me.

Haven't finished the 1st Dragon Age and not sure I will. Was cool for a bit but I'm in the Dwarf city now and it's just so boring.

Never really liked the original FEAR and never played the ones after it.

Crysis was a graphics whore with no gameplay or story so I don't have much hope for Crysis 2.

Never got into the total War games. I think I have the original Shogun game somewhere though.

Not sure what Homefront or Darkspore are. 1st time hearing those names.

I have the original Warhammer 40k RTS game but not a big fan.

Still have yet to finish 1st Witcher and again, not sure I will. When I was younger I loved RPGs, but these days they just seem more like jobs than games and I already have a job I hate.

The Star Wars game is a new MMO, right? Haven't played an MMO in years partly because everything out now sucks and thats a lot of time to invest for basically nothing.

only care about Crysis on that list...assuming my hardware is up to par at that point. FEAR has becoming a boring franchise, and I don't see anything in 3 to change that. DX does not look graphically impressive.

Warhammer 40k DoW II Retribution is going to be a pre-order game for me as soon as I find the good deals. Loved DoW 1 + expansions (except Soulstorm) and DoW II + Choas Rising built upon the success that DoW 1 was and made it closer to the fluff.

I'm also interested in Crysis 2 but might put it off until 2012 when I might be able to afford to upgrade my aging rig.

+1 for HomeFront. It is the next game from the team that brought us Frontlines: Fuel of War. I consider it "the other Battlefield" game.

The backstory is different, in the new game, it is all about the US in decline, invaded by North Korea as a rising global power. But, it seems much of the old game's mechanics will return, including the use of remote controlled vehicles, and the Frontline gameplay mechanic in multiplayer.

Crysis 2 will also get a hard look by me, in March.

Of course I am looking forward to !! BF3 !! and Red Orchestra: HOS, but this conversation is about March.
