I just recently bought a new house, well still in process anyway, but the escrow is signed and we went to the design center to pick flooring and options.
My wife chose the marble flooring for all the first floor plus the bathrooms instead of granite. The granite of course priced more and harder to take care of.
Should I change it to granite instead? I heard that marble is more porous and have to be sealed every 12-16 month.
Anyone have this experience of using marble or granite flooring?
