I must be getting old, I've been trying to figure out wtf this song means for months now. "Wait. They don't love you like I love you. (repeat 2 more times). Maps. They don't love you like I love you." What the hell is a maps? Does it stand for something?

The singer loves you more than maps do.
I mean, what were you thinking running off with those maps to southern france?
Eventually they'll just get bored with you and leave.
