I've used both, and I prefer maps.live.com because it seems to be much much better in terms of estimating how long a journey will take.
e.g. a trip I know takes about 35 minutes is given as 36 mins on Live and 49 minutes on Google, and another that I can do in roughly 3 hours Live says 3:10 for and Google says 3:46 for.

Routes are pretty much exactly the same (mostly highway type driving anyway), and the time differences are pretty significant.

Anyone else find Live being more accurate than Google? It's also more accurate than other UK based mapping services like Multimap (which is actually owned by MS IIRC...)

Are you speeding when you drive? Wouldn't Google use the speed limit? Maybe Google is actually close if you drove the speed limit.

Meh, 30 minutes isn't significant to me. I'll just leave 30 minutes early. :D
