MapPoint 2002 or a lookalike program?

Has anyone had experience with MS MapPoint 2002?
My company needs software that can map regions based on zip code, etc for marketing purposes... any other programs come close to MS?

I just ordered a 60-day trial from MS. So far, the user interface seems pretty easy to use. It doesn't have some of the capabilities of some of the more advanced mapping solutions.

I have used MapPoint for simple mapping programs; pulling info from a database and putting it on maps for presentations. Not a lot of flexability, but what it does, it does effectively. ESRI ArcView will also do this, more powerful but you pay for it.

Should take no more than a couple of hours playing with Mappoint to get what you want initially.

Contact me if more info or help needed on either item.

I use mappoint2k2 and love it. I tried streets and trips which is for personal use, the interface really sucks. so I stick with mappoint2k2
