Scenario:
3 PC's on the network, 2 running windows XP and 1 running Vista
Old Router died from lighting storm. Prior to dying, I was able to use start menu --> run --> \\<computer name> to access a PC on my network with Shared folders/drives.
New router installed, gigaset SE567, and now for the Vista machine I can not logger use the UNC or \\<computer name> method to access the other PC's shared folders/drives, I have to use the IP address for the computer with those shares now....but only for the Vista machine. The two Windows XP machine remain unaffected.
Is there a setting of something somewhere that I am not aware of?
Thoughts?
Thanks in advance for the help!
