Mapped drive problems

We have a user who has windows 2000. she has a mapped drive to a server.

lately, the icon shows that the drive is disconnected. the server is fine, no problems there. you can double click the mapped drive and it connects just fine. so why does it show disconnected?

its causing problems with a piece of software that needs to see files on that mapped drive.

Try disabling the webdav service if that doesn't do the trick.

If you are using a Novell client, move it down in the binding order.

 
well we do use symantec AV 10 but its been on the pc forever and this problem just started about 2 weeks ago. its also just one mapped drive, not all of them

i did the registry fix for it so we'll see if that helps
