Mapp vs Oxy/Mapp torches.... Which is preferable

I need a torch for copper soldering. Would a Mapp torch work as well as the Mapp/Oxy torches?? It would be nice to only have to buy 1 bottle and not two, but if the Mapp torches suck I'd spring for the Mapp/Oxy torches. How well do the straight Mapp torches work?

Are you talking about sweating copper pipes? Mapp is fine for that. Even propane is hot enough.

Yep. Cool. When would someone want an OxyMapp torch then? Is the flame much hotter then regular Mapp torches?
