Maple 5

I know it's not the appropriate forum for this question but I figure more people stop by Off Topic than Software. On to my question...

I have Maple 5.1 and I open any .mws file and I can't even edit it (type any characters). I even tried opening a new file to start from scratch and I still can't type in it. I've checked the options and everything to see if something was wrong entering text but to no avail could I fix it.

Someone help me! I don't want to have to go back to campus just to do use Maple on the NT boxes

Yeah, Maple's settings gets all screwed up sometimes. Right click after the > and make sure "Maple Input" is checked if you're entering formulas. You could also try playing around with the other options it gives you some more if that doesn't work. My advice though is to just uninstall the darn thing and reinstall it with all the default settings restored. I've had to do that a few times when it'd take longer to play around with options than just to start from scratch.

Yeah, I already made sure that was checked. I'll try un-installing and re-installing.
