Map updates for streets and trips....

Does any one know if there are map updates available for streets and trips? I just purchased 2006 with the gps locator but the maps of my area aren't including some new loops around town....

Are there ways to use other maps in conjunction with the software?
 
Sorry, you'll have to wait and hope the 2007 version has those roads.

The only updates you can get from Microsoft is construction information, which is for routing information.
 
You can get updates, but since its Microsoft I seriously doubt they will let you import other maps.

Even so, its still my favorite mapping program.
The web-based maps are current but too darn slow if you want to find lots of stuff.
