Map start button trackpoint center button. IBM T41

I just got my T41 and I'm trying to map the windows start button to the track point center button. I never use the pointer so I would never use the buttons anyways. Is there a way to map it via software? Girder?

I messed around with thesettings and there is no way I have found to enable that button that way in the control panel. You can run Ultra NAV and use it as a magnifying glass.....That's what I do with it....

How's your t41...I love it!!!!

so far I love it....i just have to get used to the function key being at the bottom left of the keypad and not having a start key.

Its thin, light, great battery life, and speedy the perfect machine for me.

Yea I was used to the CRTL and the Function key being opposite this one. I was using a Toshiba before. I should have gotten this one from the begining.....
I just ordered another 256mb stick from Crucial along with a 128mb USB Thumb drive.

The back and forward keys by the arrows are killer aren't they????

nope....no difference than backspace and shift+backspace
I prefer having both of my 2 hands the same position

Just got my T41 in the other day, and was very upset about not having a windows key. I didn't want to run a TSR just for keyboard remapping and thankfully I ran across this site. Shows you how to remap your keyboard via the registry. I now have my right alt key mapped as windows key, much better.
