its a shame that the simpsons didnt follow seinfeld and quit when they were ahead. it hurts to even watch them anymore

Its still good man.... people are just jaded.
Sure its not at the top of its game, but its still one of THE BEST SHOWS on TV. I'll take a crappy Simpsons episode (minus one about Lisa) over 90% of the tripe on TV today.

Yeah... all they really did was take all of the places that have ever appeared or been mentioned in the show and arranged them on a map.

I like how there are several bridges out of springfield, as opposed to the one bridge out of Springfield we always hear about.
 
What's even more impressive/sad is the episode archive they have. It's frighteningly specific. They even collect the movie references for each episode.
